Natalie Cook has been writing for the majority of her life and began performing spoken word poetry at the age of 11. She is the founder and former Director of Atlanta Word Works, “Atlanta’s home for youth poets and uncensored teen poetry”. Natalie works with young poets on the creative process of writing and editing, and helps them to translate their poetry from the page to the stage. She provides guidance and insight that helps poets to develop their own voices, and stand in their courage to speak their truths.
