Jiye Back is a high school junior from Seoul, South Korea, residing in Kuwait. She is an alumna of the Iowa Young Writers' Studio and the Kenyon Review Young Writers Workshop. Marveled by linguistics, she speaks Arabic, French, English, and Korean fluently. When she is not editing, Jiye is re-reading “When Breath Becomes Air,” trying new food, or working as the Vice President of the Junior Board. Jiye is grateful and honored to be a part of the Polyphony community.
