Seryca Monroe is a high school junior at Reynolds High School. Her poetry is featured in her book, A Poet I Am Not and ArtsofMalina. She has taken journalism and communication courses through University of Oregon Summer SAIL Program as well as a workshop for speech writing at the Portland Speech and Debate Institute at Lewis and Clark College. When she is not writing (which is rare), she fills her free time with reading and speech and debate.
