With a background in marketing strategy consulting, she also serves as a Project Mentor at Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University. Her education includes a B.A. in History and Literature from Harvard and an MBA from Kellogg. Katie has three children and is an avid racket sports player and lit lover.

Favorite writing memory: I remember receiving a diary around age seven or eight, feeling challenged to write something worthy of the lock and key that came with it.

Favorite book in high school:  In high school I was a tour guide at the House of Seven Gables in Salem, Massachusetts, which is the setting for Nathaniel Hawthorne’s classic. Such a great summer job, it thrilled me to have a little part in bringing both the fiction and the history to life. I went on to major in a History and Literature in college.
